A song For Europe BBC-the final four!
John's writing career started with The Glitter Band and co-wrote with Gerry Shephard two of the Glitter Band hits "Love In The Sun" and "People Like You And People Like Me" He also wrote several track for the Glitter Band Albums.
But one of he highlights of John's career was teaming up with Gerry again in the year 2000 and writing the song which represented the UK for the Eurovision Song Contest. They wrote the song one afternoon and there first choice to sing the song was Nicki French who turned out to be a great fan of Eurovision and who's voice matched the song perfectly.
